Plenary Session I: Biobased Materials - Recent Developments 

The theme of this plenary session is focused on the state of the art in bio-based materials and biodegradable materials. There will be a special focus on bio-based polymers which are emerging in the commercial markets, and the use of renewable feedstocks for commercial polymers. This session will also discuss the direction and future of bio-based material development.

Plenary Session II: Sustainable Manufacturing 

The theme of this plenary session is the use of sustainable manufacturing techniques in real-world industry. This will focus on the development and implementation of sustainable materials, the challenges of integrating sustainable solutions into existing infrastructure, and the future of sustainable development within industry, particularly for plastics and automotives.

Plenary Session III: Circular Economy Towards Mitigating Climate Change 

The theme of this plenary session is the role of circular economy in bringing new innovations and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. This will include discussion of food security and food waste management, and converting waste plastic into new products. In addition, there will be a focus on sustainable and bio-based food packaging.

Plenary Session IV: Green Technology and Government Policy & Commercialization Strategy 

The theme of this plenary is the newest innovation in green chemicals and green composites. Government certification and policy development, as well as commercialization strategies for bioeconomy, will also be discussed.
