Information

The 15th ISBBB conference is being held in Guelph, Ontario, Canada at the Delta Hotels Guelph Conference Centre from July 24 - 27, 2018. The theme of  the conference is “Circular Economy for Bioproducts Innovation”. The concept of a Circular Economy is one of the driving forces for the current wave of bioproduct innovations. This concept helps to improve the Sustainability of products and materials. This conference focuses on how the concept of a Circular Economy can be incorporated towards Bioplastics, Biocomposites and Biorefining. The Circular Economy opposes the current Linear-based Economy which is the 'take, make, dispose' model of production. At its core, the Circular Economy is a system where nothing is wasted and valuable materials destined for landfill are put back into the economy without negative effects on people and the environment.

On behalf of the ISBBB 2018 organising committee, we would like to invite you to participate in this conference. We look forward to welcoming you to Guelph.
