Dr. Laurent Matuana is a Professor in the School of Packaging at Michigan State University, USA. His expertise is in the area of bio-based plastics and foams, natural fiber plastic composites and nanotechnology for applications in packaging. He received his BSc and MSc from L'Université Laval, and his PhD from the University of Toronto - University College. Dr. Matuana holds many publications and patents in the area of bio-based packaging, and was honoured as a Fellow of the Society of Plastics Engineers in 2014.
