Dr. Wayne Song is President of Future Materials Inc. (FMI) in China， Director of Futuresoft Technologies Inc. (FTI) in USA. He is also Vice President of Wood-plastic Composite Council (WPCC) of China, and the organizer of the China WPC Forums from 2007-2015. FMI makes PE and PVC based Wood-plastic Composite (WPC) decking and other products.

Wayne has studied WPC since 1989 in Canada. From 1995-1999, he was the Vice President and one of the founders of Dura Products International Inc. in Toronto, the first public company in North America which made WPC products. He was in charge of WPC pallet manufacturing; Since1999, Wayne has been managing and developing markets for FTI’s turn-key wood-plastic composite extrusion systems, especially in China; In charge of new development in high end extrusion systems; and coordinating FTI’s international marketing in North America.

Since 1995, Wayne has been developing polymer nano-composite materials and related technology. He worked with Dept. Of Energy (USA), NRCC (Canada), DOW Chemical, Total, Sekisui, Toyobo, ITRI (Taiwan), etc.

He was adjunct professor at Univ. of Toronto, Univ. Maine (USA) and Beijing University of Chemical Technology, supervised graduate students and joint research on wood-plastic composite and other polymer composite processing projects.
