Dr Nadras Othman is attached to the Polymer Engineering Program, School of Materials and Mineral Resources Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Engineering Campus which located in Nibong Tebal, Penang, Malaysia. Her research and development work is centered on the utilization of natural resources as an additive in rubber compound, progress in retread tire liner and cushion gum and rubber clay composites. She obtained her Bachelor Degree from University of North London (London Metropolitan University) in 1997. She works as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at STC (M) Plastics Private Limited for 1 year and Quality Assurance Engineer at EP Polymers (M) Private Limited for 1 years. She obtained her PhD in Polymer Composites from USM in 2007 and joined USM in January 2008. She was promoted to Associate Professor two years ago. She has published more than 70 ISI, Scopus Indexed and national journal, 6 book chapters and more than 80 international and national proceeding with more than 700 citation, 16 H-Index and 26 i-10 index (17th January, 2018). She is one of Editorial Board Member for Journal of Composites and Biodegradable Polymer and reviewer for international and national journals. She was appointed as a technical committee for few international conferences. Now, she is one of technical committee member for International Rubber Conference 2018 (IRC 2018) which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 4-6th September 2018 and The 3rd International Conference on Advanced Functional Materials 2018 (ICAFM 2018), San Francisco, United State, 3-5th August, 2018. She has 2 graduated PhD and 13 Masters Students and right now 5 PhD students are working under her supervision.
