Nathanael Guigo
France

Nathanaël Guigo received his Ph.D. in 2008 from the University Nice Sophia Antipolis (France) in the field of furanic based polymers and composites. In 2009, he joined the Centre de Recherche sur les Macromolécules Végétales (Grenoble, France) as a post-doctoral fellow to work on high performance composites with natural fibres. In 2010, N. Guigo became Associate Professor at the Institute of Chemistry (ICN) in Nice (France). His main research interests are on the physical chemistry of biobased polymers including (i) furanic building blocks (PEF, polyfurfuryl alcohol, humins derivatives, etc.) (ii) crystallization, gelation, glass transitions in biopolymers; (iii) preparation of biobased composites and nanocomposites; He co-authored more than 40 publications.
