Vimal Katiyar is Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. He is Team Leader of ‘Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Polymers’ funded by Government of India at IIT Guwahati. He obtained his Master and Ph.D. degrees from IIT Kanpur & IIT Bombay, India, respectively. His research interests include biodegradable polymer synthesis, polymer processing, bionanocomposites, structure property relationship, polymer degradation and migration studies.
